I was wondering if i can get feedback on the Panasonic AVCHD AG-HMC150 which is coming out in October? Do you think it will give the quality as the AG-HVX200A? These cameras are changing so fast. When you think you have the cash to buy one, something else comes out. Thanks in advance

The camera quality will be the same but it will have a log GOP codec, called AVCHD. It doesn’t have variable frame rates, and a number of other features. I really is meant to enter the product line at the level of DV. AVCHD will be the DV of the HD world.

    Hope that helps,

The HMC150 has many nice features at a good price point. I would upgrade if the resolution holds up.

Can you tell me if the HMC150 also has pixel shifting? Or does it have a true 1920 sensor?
