September 16, 2008 at 8:22 pmIt’s P2CMS version 1.3 and then in that download area, you will see a plug in that will convert AVC-I to DPX.
Go here:
https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/desk/e/download.htm#p2cms
Then when you finally get to the download page, you will see a separate download for the DPX plug in.

September 22, 2008 at 9:16 pmwhat is DPX? And what does the plug in let you do exactly?

November 4, 2008 at 4:35 pmApparently the plug in is for FCP 6.0.2 or 6.0.3, what if you are running final cut 5.1.4.

Time to upgrade? You can’t use AVC-I in any shape or form with FCP 5. If you use Log and transfer, avc-i footage gets transcoded to ProRes or HQ which is not possible in FCP5.
Sorry about that.
