autosync
Dear All,
I am trying to use autosync to sync up my video footage and DAT sound in Avid XproHD. However, after I find the sync spot of my video and audio clips, set the outpoint (inpoint), highlight both clips in the same bin and choose outpoint (or inpoint) to sync, I can get only a group clip, instead of a subclip. Why? What have done wrong?

This is because your source clips have duplicate tracks – in this case your video clips probably have A1 or A2 already associated with it. Subclip the video out to be video only and try again.
If that is not the case, there are times when the icon does not update correctly, highlight the group clip and hit AutoSync again.
