    Hi guys,

Is there a way to “autosync” (as in Avid) to sync video and audio in FCP?
I’ve been trying “merge” but in a timeline the merged clips are seen as separate audio and video files.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Trevor Ambrose

    Trevor,

If the sound is BWF, BWF_QT merge can do it outside of FCP.
It is a part of FCPauxTC reader, but also available by itself.

    Get the demo here:

Mind you, the video is master, sound that is outside the video boundaries will not be pasted in. (This is a FCP limitation.)

    hth,
