    Autosave vault not working

    I am in FCP 7 and discovered that the autosave vault is no longer working. seems to have stopped a few days ago.

    I have trashed the preferences and changed the scratch disks.

    no autosave is happening.

    any thoughts of how to fix this?
    It has save my but more than once.

    is it FCP 7.0?
    i have a very vague memory of Autosave issues in that version (BUT I COULD BE WRONG)

    my only other thought is that there is some permissions issue,
    and FCP cant write to that location.
    You could try Repair Permission from Disk Utility
