Automatically compress and morph/shrink text
I’m a beginner in AE btw. How can you make a lower thirds that automatically compresses text inside a box? Coz i don’t want to edit the characters manually.
And second is how to morph/shrink the same text? Just like how CNN lower thirds work. I’m using CS4. Thanks in adv for your responses. -

you can do it with later versions of creative cloud versions of ae… adobe added a sourceRectAtTime() expression function that can determinate the size of a text layer that can then be used to create a ‘shrink-to-fit’ expression to scale text layer to fit a maximum size.
