    I’m putting together a slide show. Is there some preference setting so each event when dropped on the timeline will have a 1 second transition. I’m using Vegas 14 and don’t have any plugins installed which might accomplish this

    Hi Roger,

    I don’t have VP14 so can not check to see if this preference is available.

    In VP16, > Option > Preferences > Editing tab, check ‘Automatically overlap multiple selected media when added’, then set the overlap amount and type of alignment.
