Does anyone know of an automated way to overlap and taper (-on and -off) the audio in successive clips entered on the FCP 5.1 timeline? I usually have done this manually, but it can be quite time consuming. Maybe soundtrackpro can do this?

    Thanks,
    John

    John,

You can always do a hard cut between two audio tracks and drop an audio cross dissolve between them.

    John,

I wish all things in life were that easy…

BTW, Staples actually sells EASY buttons just like the ones in their commercials. I’m going to start giving them to my clients at the beginning of every new project.
