Hey, is there any way to automate the process of removing individual frames in Vegas Pro 10?
For example if I have a clip and want to remove 2 out of every 3 frames?
    Thanks

You can render avi at ten frames per second, captured at 30p or 29.97. It would look the same as removing 2 of three frames.

You could use a script to do this like the Image Sequence tool in VASST Ultimate S Pro plug-in. It will render and image sequence at any interval you want. You could then import this as an image sequence and it will behave as a single piece of media. I believe the Excalibur plug-in has something similar.

    Thanks to you both.

Danny, I’m still new to this, say I have a .mov file, how would I go about rendering at 10fps and then inserting this new file into my project timeline?

In your render as window, type 10 in the fps area. I probably says 29.97 and can be dropped down to choose but 10 isnt one of the options, so type it in there.
