Automate Comps using list of names
Hey there –
Trying to figure out a way to batch about 100 comps with a very particular naming scheme I prefer not to type manually.
I’m not sure if I can do this with xml or csv? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!!

You’d have to come up with a custom script to read and process the xml or csv. Probably not too tough if you have scripting experience, but would take some time if it’s your first script.

Hey Daniel, any chance you could outline at least a few filenames, to see the pattern? If it has some naming convention, it would give indication how to proceed.
But in general, its a scripting task of going through a loop and updating names.
