    Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is a silly question. I am new to Final Cut and was wondering if there is a similar feature to the automate to sequence function of Premiere Pro on FCP?

I want to set markers to music so that I can then add stills to the time line at these markers without having to draq each still (900+) onto the timeline.
    Thanks.

It’s not really automatic. You put in your markers. Put the playhead between a pair of markers and press Control-A (Mark to Markers) to put I/O into the sequence and then edit in the shot you want. Repeat for the next pair of markers. Hardly automatic.

You might want to go to Feedback and write it up in detail as a feature request. Don’t just say the way it’s done in Premiere. The applications’ functionalities are different so you have to explain exactly what you want using FCP’s way for working.

    All the best,

    Tom
