can I take a folder, or bin from FCP and use AD so I can import it into AVID, or do I need to take all the clips, put it into a sequence, and then duck that for AVID?

    Hi Joe,
    Works by importing sequence.
Import a Bin makes no much sense for me.

Importing a bin DOES make sense… you have footage in an Avid that you want to now work with in FCP.

NO, the Duck does not do bins…sequences only. So if you want to get the footage to FCP, make a sequence with the footage, then Duck that over…Then you can load the individual clips (the duck makes QT ref movies of them) by dragging the sequence to a bin.
