  • Auto-tracing layer with Collapse Transformation or Continuous Rasterizing

Posted by Oleg Pirogov on December 11, 2017 at 6:38 am

    Hi all,

What is the logic behind masks generated by Auto-tracing being forced to separate layer if Collapse Transformation/ Continuous Rasterizing is on?

I.e. if CT is off I can choose to apply masks either to the auto-traced layer or to a new (solid) layer. But if CT is on, only the latter option is available.

I am aware about CT’s mechanics regarding render order but still can’t see why. I mean, I can always switch off CT, do Auto-Tracing and switch CT on. Any insights?
    Thanks!
