Auto-trace not working in After Effects CS6
Hello,
I am a complete newbie to after effects and I am trying to trace a photoshop file in After Effects however everytime I try it seems nothing happens and I don’t get a path. Can someone please help me? I been using the pen tool to work around it but I’m getting tired of having to trace everything by hand. Anyone have an answer?

auto trace is for converting RGBA channels to masks. if it’s a photoshop files, you might as well trace it and prepare it in photoshop and import it to Ae as already cutout.
