Auto Trace Layer Error
I’m working on some super tight junk mattes using the method described by Aharon in his tutorial (which is awesome by the way!) Anyhow, the auto-trace layer doesn’t seem to work if the clip is copied and pasted from PPro. If I import the clip itself from file and then run Layer>Auto Trace it will track the matte correctly. On the copied one it appears to run the trace successfully, but the result is just blank. (doesn’t track anything). The only problem with the import file method is that I have cut all the clips in PPro already and import file brings in the whole take. Any thoughts or work-around suggestions? Thanks!
