    Auto Scroll Timeline

    Is there a way to have the timeline autoscroll or update while playing a sequence?
    Rather than having to move to the point in the timeline after you hit stop.

    There is no automatic way for the timeline to scroll, but you can hold the mouse button over the right scroll arrow on the lower right of the timeline and hold the mouse key. This will scroll the timeline without pausing playback. Basically, the answer to your questions is, No.
