Auto ripple only one track
Hello all,
THe search feature here only produced one result of no help. I have been looking but can not find my answer.
Using auto ripple vegas 14, and having 2 or more video tracks, is there an easy way to have it only affect the track I am working on?
Example, I delete or shorten a clip in video track 2,,, I want to move after the edit to the left. I do not want to pull track 1 with it. What am i foing wrong?

Yes, click on the little drop down icon next to the Auto Ripple button (see image – circled in yellow) and select “Affected Tracks” or “Affected Tracks, Bus Tracks, …”. Then when moving media it will only affect the same track(s) that it occupies.
If it still moves multiple tracks – your media might be grouped. You can select it and press U to ungroup.
If you don’t see this option then it’s possible that it was introduced in a later version of Vegas.

Thank you for the reply,, sorry for my delay,, not getting notification from any sites anymore for some reason.
ANyway,, I tried that, nothing works. Nothing is grouped.. Even if i try to control click on clips,, all track, all clips move. I drag and drop clips from windows file explorer to vegas,,, Is it possible the way I am loading clips?
