I know I’ve done this before, and not sure why it’s alluding me.

I worked on a sequence in AMA have decided to transcode/consolidate to DNxHD.

The AMA files are quicktime/DNxHD from a Ninja2.

I thought there was a setting in transcode/consolidate to mark the old files with .old and the new files would auto re-link to everything. But now I can’t seem to find it.

But it seems to only give me the option of putting a .new at the end of each new file, and the sequence is still linked to the AMA files.

I tried transcoding and consolidating individual clips onto a new drive, shutting down Avid and disconnecting the drive with the AMA files, then re-booting AVID and connecting to the new drive with the transcoded files. But it doesn’t auto link.

I’m on Avid 7.0 (with the symphony trial option turned on, not sure if that makes a difference)
And I’m an a macbookPro Retina.

    Thanks in advance!!
