So the animation I’m working on involves a progression of static images coming onto the screen just behind a camera dolly move. They’re photos of an athlete doing their thing, running, jumping, whatever. There’s mostly a Z move with a touch of X/Y and some orientation, also a little wiggle on the camera’s position. All the static images, KO’d in PS, have an Auto-Orient Y expression to keep them square to the camera.

The thing is, all the images have a slight rotation wiggle, or jitter or whatever. It’s throughout the animation, all during the camera move and everything.

Here’s a link to part of the video if you want to see:

This is a little different shot but the same idea, it just had the worst jitter of the clips. I know it’s not very good, still learning, just a rough draft.

But if anybody has an idea what’s causing the weird behavior…

    Thanks

How far is the camera from the images and what is the wiggle expression for the camera?

In this shot the distance is approximately 3000 px at the start and ends up at approx. 1700 px.

    The wiggle expression is “wiggle(1,10)”.

I’m stumped. It would be hard to diagnose without seeing the project.
