Auto Orient
Hello,
Where is the Auto orient information stored in a layer? I am trying to get that data so I can parent a different object’s rotation to it while having the position being used for other objects that I don’t want to rotate. The data doesn’t seem to be stored in the layers rotation properties and I have tried to set the layer as a 3D layer but the same is not present in the orientation properties.
I am at a loss. Hopefully this makes sense.

Hey Peter, I think it is not possible. Instead, you could duplicate the same layer, hide it, and use with ‘Auto orient’ disabled. Not the most beautiful approach though 🙂
