    hey all,

    in short, i dropped my panasonic and now it reads “Auto Off Cylinder Lock” and it won’t play or record…. any one been as careless as myself and experienced this??!!

    i would die for any help!!!

    Eeeeks!

    You might try a System Reset.

    Open your DVX’s LCD screen and on the sub panel, there’s a little button that can only be pushed with a paper clip or similarly-sized object. This button is next to the Audio MON/VAR controls. It’s similar to the manual eject button on DVD/CD drive for a computer.

    Push it and see if that is of any help. Failing that, you may have to seek service.
