  • Auto grab of all stills on the time line

I have searched the manual and not even sure if this is possible but is there a way for Resolve to grab the first frame of all the clips on the time line or middle frame automatically?

    Hi.

    Manula page 297:

“Grab All Stills from First Frame’ will grab a still from every clip on the timeline using the first frame of each clip.”

You do that in viewer with right click.

And please please , think twice before doing it.
It takes around 5-10 minutes to do it on a 500 shot timeline.
    You can not stop it.
And even better, you can not UNDO it.
So if you are parked in your Powergrades tab (like me, last night) and you execute the command, you flood your precious selected powergrades with all the stills from that one timeline.
Best is to create an empty gallery page first, put em all in there and then save.
Oh, and middle clip is better in most cases to avoid dissolves and stuff.
