auto adding Keyframes in Color corrector
Trying to adjust a clip which involves a walk into and thru a building; from daylight to tungsten to fluorescent and back to daylight.
Had been using the ‘add keyframe’ technique as per

For a good couple of hours ad then for no reason I can find FCP7 starts adding smaller keyframes to the viewer timeline whenever I touch an adjustment slider.
I realise this is another way way to ‘transition’ the adjustment as the clips progresses BUT I cannot find the control which will allow me to just add keyframes where and when I want then. -

Well… any time you make an adjustment after you’ve set the first keyframe in a clip, new keyframes are added at the position of the playhead. So don’t adjust anything unless you are on a keyframe you’ve already set or you want to set one where the playhead sits. This is the built-in behavior of FCP’s filters, and there’s no setting to change to switch the behavior.

It seemed to be behaving differently when we first used it but as we had just discovered it I guess it was all part of the learning curve!
