Historically I have always authored to DVD, via Premiere Pro CS6>Encore. Recently due to a series of Encore glitches & clients moving away from DVD in general, I have decided to offer a USB option. However I am so used to popping a DVD in, viewing the menu etc and would like a USB to offer the same auto-play style function. I’m concerned it wouldn’t look entirely professional if just opened up with a series of files.

My experience of USB up to this point is purely regarding file storage rather than DVD authoring, can a video be authored to USB in the same way as DVD?

You can find a bunch of stuff online about setting up an AutoRun function – https://www.flashbay.com/support/faq/usb-flash-drive-autorun-setup . I will say, my Windows 10 computer, I have set up NOT to autorun through my SEP. And, from what I understand, AutoRun won’t work on Apple because of their security. Better off with just telling people to open “TitleName.mp4” to view. Still pretty dang easy. 🙂

Yes but you need your client to use some kind of DVD player. If you are planning to have your client playing your presentation from a computer, you might be better off using some HTML pages which is widely used accross platforms.
