Audition to Soundbooth equivalent FX
Hey Peoples! THANKS in advance for the help on this.
We have used Adobe Audition to master the Audio for our TV spots that go to broadcast, but we are trying to switch over to Soundbooth and are trying to make sure that we have the equivalent FX in our audio. Here is what we do:
1. EXPORT our audio(VO, music, everything) in 48k .wav format and import into AUdition
2. We use CHANNEL MIXER at the “Average” preset to convert the audio to mono basically.
3.Then AMPLIFY/FADE in the “Constant Amplification” tab. We generally use around -8 to get our peaks between -10 and -12.
4. Finally HARD LIMITING to -12 so that none of our peaks go above -12db
We have played around in SB to try and find the equivalent FX, but since SB is “Task based”, it is a little hard for some non-audio guys. Any help or suggestions would be great. THANKS!
