Audition Edit setting
Hi all.
On Avid MC 6.0.1.1 here. The .1 rollup added an unusual bug (I refuse to call it a feature).
When auditioning an edit in trim mode, the audio fades out instead of cutting. I think this is too bizarre to not have been coded intentionally.
1) Is there a setting to stop it?. I’ve looked, and haven’t seen one.
2) Can any Avid folks here explain the thinking behind it?

From what I am told, it is a bug to be addressed in the next dot release. Certainly is a bad one for trim. Hope it comes out soon.
