Audition Crashes during OMF export…every time.
Audition crashes during OMF export…
Whether I’ve put one track into the audition session or if I’ve brought in a sequence from Premiere CC (via Edit in Audition > Sequence), doesn’t matter. It crashes.
My feature doc is at a stand still because of this. My sound editor is waiting for me to get him a functioning OMF for Pro Tools. My main timeline is filled with nested interview sequences, so Premiere’s OMFs show up in Pro Tools with blank audio tracks, the ones that were nests.
The work around that everyone seems to be using is to take the sequence from Premiere and into Audtion via right click > Edit in Audition > sequence. That opens in Audition wonderfully. It’s all there. But the export to OMF crashes.
So I’ve tried single audio tracks in Audition. Still no successful export to OMF.
I’m using Premiere CC and Audition CS6
Please help! Thanks.

are you running the latest update to Audition CS6?
I remember having .omf issues as well one time, but an update fixed it.
