  Audition crashes and doesn’t restore the correct session

  Hello everyone! I’m working on a laptop (Mac OS, 2,4 Ghz with 16GB of RAM) and Audition tends to crash whenever I throw a lot of effects or use external plug-ins. I understand that a laptop isn’t ideal for editing, but I think in my case there’s a problem with the program. When it crashes, it restores the session but it shows the changes from 5-6 hours ago. When I go to the back-up folder and find the recently saved session (looks like project_0200825T162803.808630.sesx), it opens the same session with the changes from 5 hours ago.
  When I open the original session (that I save manually) it looks identical to the file from the back-up folder, even though I save it every 5 minutes and it should clearly show some changes. Please help me out! It happens all the time. :,))
