    Hi all,

I’m having a strange issue where Audition actually plays audio from a clip in the multitrack window earlier than it should. For example, while I’m scrubbing the audio of a clip sometimes begins to play before the playhead is even over the clip. I’m trying to sync up a few things manually and this is making it much more difficult.. Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

I know this reply is a bit late, but is this still a problem? There are two reasons I can think of this behavior might occur. The first would be a very high audio buffer size and the other would be a high latency effect such as Full Reverb being used on the track. Do you experience this only while scrubbing, or do you notice it during real-time playback as well?

After doing a few more tests it does seem that this only happens during scrubbing. I’m assuming now that this is a feature Adobe added which maybe in some cases is helpful? The only effects I’m using are Multiband Compressor and Parametric Equalizer. Would these be the culprit? It would be great if there was a way to turn this feature off if it is one.

    Thanks for the reply!
