    Hi Guys,

I’m currently doing postproduction on a project and am a bit new to Audition and sound design in general.

I have to make several different pieces of music sound as if they were recorded on location (in a car, outside of a car, in a nightclub, on headphones in someones head and in another room). I was wondering if anyone could adivse on ways to accomplish this, or point me in the direction of a useful resource that a beginner like me may find useful?

    Many thanks,

    Andy Wilton

the fft filters in ‘edit mode’ have some really helpful presets that, if tweaked, will work really well.

for instance, ‘the club downstairs’ panned and stereo expanded will work really well for the nightclub outside.

oh. and something like the ‘only the receiver’ filter tweaked a bit would make for a nice headphone noise.
