Audition 1.5 old CS5 edition
My Windows 10 PC suddenly stopped working with audio output to USB port that drives an ART USB DI D to A adapter.
I have full audio from all the other applications but only silence from Audition.
Audition plays files and I can see the VU meter activity.

There are various compatibility issues with Audition 1.5 on windows 10 because the software is old and operating system keeps updating. Open adobe audition properties and click on compatibility, enable the compatibility mode for old version of windows as required. Give the necessary permissions.
Also, open audio hardware setup in audition and check if the correct output device is selected, update your adapter drivers and if the problem still occurs you may change the usb port.
