I’m not sure if this id the right place to ask this question, but does anybody know good audio filter settings in FCP 4.5 adding to voiceover recording. I’m looking for a clear, sparkling. direct sound.
Anybody has suggestions in FCP or would Soundtrack do better?

    Thanks for any help.

[Johan van Oyen] ” I’m looking for a clear, sparkling. direct sound.”

That comes FIRST from choosing the proper Microphone, a trained Talent, and correct Placement between the mic and the person.
Also, the environment (noise, unwanted room reverb/echo) can degrade the sound.

Adding EQ and Compression can only improve what is first recorded properly.
If its added to a “below average” track, you’ll just accentuate the imperfections.

I do use a professional microphone (AKG) , pro-voicever and leave a few centimeters between voice and microphone. I was just wondering wich settings EQ and Compression setting will sound clear / crisp
    Any advises?
