  Audio wierdness

  When I lay down an audio track in my timeline, there’s a noticable delay from when the playhead hits the audio and when I hear the audio. The audio kicks in late. Also, at the end of the audio track when the audio should end, it continues to play – sometimes up to one second after the playhead has passed the audio.

  I’m new to Avid. If this were to happen in Final Cut, I’d most likely repair permissions and delete my preference files. Is there a “fix all” solution to these kinds of probles in Avid?
