    Audio while digitizing

    For some reason when I digitize HDV footage the audio is played back while I digitize (coming through my headphones/speakers)- but that doesn’t happen with SD. I am using FCP 6.0.2 with a Sony HVR M1OU. Is there is a simple fix I am not taking care of? Thanks.

    There is a “monitor audio” check box when you capture. Look for it near the audio levels.
