Apparently premiere has some issues with drawing audio waveforms when editing a multicam sequence? This is rather annoying and bizarre. Basically, all my audio waveforms do not match the actual audio being heard, and anytime I cut the track it randomly changes the waveforms again.

You can see the behavior here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqowOKYxFvo&feature=youtu.be

I’ve tried deleting media cache and pek files multiple times, but this behavior persists. I am hoping someone knows what to do.

    Hi Vito,
Thanks for reporting this issue. We’ve logged it and we’re looking into it. This was also reported in our uservoice forum. Due to policy I can’t comment further on when we expect to release a fix, but I wanted to note that we’re aware of it.

    Best regards,
