I don’t know if I’m weird in this, but I like to have audio waveforms displayed a lot when I’m editing. I’ve got a sequence, though, that doesn’t seem to want to display then except at very tight zoom levels – when viewing it a little wider, it’s just little “x”es in the audio space for each clip. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I’ve tried clearing the audio waveform cache, restarting FCP, rebooting, putting everything into a new timeline… everything I could think of, and still I just get little xes.

    Thanks!

You can try increasing the size of the waveform cache.
