Im using FCP 7 on Snow leopard. Im new in FCP. Is there a way to show the audio’s waveform in the sequence timeline? in premiere pro, once you drag an audio, it shows up as a waveform and it’s so much easier to edit and sync it with video.is there a setting in FCP to do such? thanks

There is a group of 5 buttons at the bottom left corner of the timeline. The 5th button from the left is the Timeline Layout Popup menu. Select it and click on Show Audio Waveforms.

    or

The keyboard shortcut is Command Option W.

Option-Command-W. For future reference, FCP has a very good help option.
