  Audio Waveform Glitch

  I have imported an Audio file (AIFF) into AE CS5 and put it into the timeline, showed the waveforms, play, scrub, everything looks and works fine. After working in AE for a bit, I notice that the audio waveform looks different, i.e blank in spots or waveform pushed over and I have not done anything to it. In order to correct this, I have to delete audio file from the project and re-import it and put in the timeline, only to have this happen again after a period of time. Any ideas on this? Haven’t tried other audio formats but I’ve had this problem in the past.
