I am trying to sync up two audio files by visually lining up their wave forms (one wave form is linked to video and the other is not). When I pan out on my time line (so that I can see more of the wave form), the wave form of the audio-only clip appears to shift and is visually out of sync, even though the actual audio of the two clips are still in sync. When I zoom in a bit on the timeline again, the two wave forms line up again. This is rather annoying. Any ideas?

Line up the inpoints so that there’s the same gap from inpoint to first waveform. It sounds like a scaling up / rounding effect – it’s not affecting the sync, right, you’re just talking about the visual rep on the timeline?
