audio trimmer
In vegas 5 I’m not getting audio in the trimmer but the audio meters are moving. When i move the clip up onto the vegas time line I can pan to the top and get audio now. The trimmer doesn’t have a pan so how do i get sound back in the trimmer to the one channel that has sound. When i videoed this did I use mono or stereo with the shot gun mic hooked into a beach tech that caused this?

Maybe one side of your speakers isn’t hooked up?
In the trimmer, you should hear the left side out the left speaker and the right side out the right speaker. On the timeline, you can pan so that it goes out both. Typically I right-click the audio, choose “Channels” and then pick the appropriate option.
