    Hey,

I normally use the ‘cross fade(+0dB)’ transition when I cross fade audio rather than the ‘cross fade(+3dB),’ which is set as the default transition in the menu when I right-click at the cut. Is there a way to include the ‘cross fade(+0dB)’ in that right-click menu and adjust the length so I don’t have to keep dragging and dropping from the audio transition folder from the effects tab? It would make things go so much faster.

    Thanks,

    Rob G.

    Go the the Effects tab.

Enter the desired transition duration in the “Length” column.

    Right click on the transition.

    Select “Set Default Transition”

Now that transition — with that duration — is your default audio transition, which is selected by right clicking within the timeline.

FYI: same procedure works for setting your default video transition.

    Hope that helps.
