Ok, I have taken video with my Sony HandyCam and I have uploaded it to my Hard Drive and it has sound on it. However, when I try to transfer the video from my Hard Drive into Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum Pro Pack, the Audio will NOT go with it. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Firstly……
    Which Sony HandyCam?
And what was your method of uploading it to your harddrive?

I have a Sony DCR-SR45 and I transferred to my laptop via USB cable. The transfer to the laptop was fine. It’s there, with audio and everything. I just can’t get the audio to go to Vegas with the video.

Could some one please reply to this message as I have just bought Vegas Movie Studio 9 and I have the same problem. I own a Sony camcorder DCR-SR35. In the end I had to download my videos to Windows as Vegas would not recognise my camcorder??? The videos play and have audio on windows but when I import them onto Vegas, video is captured but no audio. I have trolled through the manual and gone through the Vegas tutorials but to no avail. I am at a loss now help needed please.

    Cheers Ro
