    Hi,
I have a mov provided to me which has been recorded with 4 audio tracks.
Tracks 1/2 i do not wish to use. Only 3/4. (1&2 are dolby E, 3/4 are the LT RT)
But i cant seem to output an avi from Premier with audio taken only from the movs 3/4.

Can someone suggest where/how i can assign my output to 3/4.
I am not editing the mov. Simply topping and tailing, then outputing new AVI.

    Thanks in advance

Have selected my imported mov in the project asset bin. Then gone to clip menu and tried all the options. Cant get the desired result.

This mov was captured im told with the AJA board on a mac.
Im told they captured the file with all 4 audio tracks from digi.
Tracks 1 and 2 on digi were Dolby E. 3 and 4 were the LT and RT.
However when i import this mov into premier, let it pass the file, then i click on the audio track and properties, it tells me there is only 3 tracks.
I assume it sees the dolby e tracks as one. Big assumption i guess.

Im sure this is straightforward. But i cant get any joy here.
How does one bring onto the timeline a file, and separate all audio tracks.

    D –

Have you tried selecting the clip in the project panel, then navigating the Clips menu to the “Source Audio Mapping” dialogue box? I think this is how you’d go about doing what you’re seeking. It’s also possible that the originator of the clip thought he was producing a 4 channel file, but actually didn’t.
