I have just started using PP5.5 and I am working on a personal project to get my feet wet. I have put audio on tracks 1, 2, and 3 and now I want to put audio on track 4. My tracks are stereo as they are now set up. When I try to do this (put audio on track 4), the system will not recognize track 4 and I cannot move the ‘A’ indicator to that track. For some reason, it defaults to track 7. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this problem? Thanks so much.

It varies. I have music which is sometimes stereo and sometimes mono. But all music files have two tracks. I also have field tapes of various forms – AVCHD which is stereo and analog video which is usually mono wit two tracks.
