Audio track only playing music, not dialogue.
Hi, when I drag and drop an in and out point from the source monitor to tracks on my timeline, video and audio, in the audio track which has both music and dialogue, only the music plays. Why could this be happening?

Sounds like your source has dialogue on one track and music on another. When you edit the clip across either only one track is coming across or you have only the music track active.
What I can say is no NLE can split a mixed track.Pat Horridge
