    Hello everyone:
I’m using CS3 Creative Suite and on some imported clips my audio track wants to lock on Audio 4, the video will move to different video tracks . . . but the audio will stay locked on Audio 4. Is there something I am doing wrong when I import these clips . . or is in in the setup ? ? Any suggestion on moving this to a different track ? ?

    Thanks – Hap

Generally, projects default to 3 audio tracks plus a master. If your import forced the creation of a new track it is in a format that is not defined in the project settings – maybe a mono or 5.1 track.
To move it to a stereo track, you could export it as stereo and re-import the file.

Let us know if this is even close to answering your issue…

I don’t know how I missed this thread before I posted the same question on the basic’s board. I had a sneaking suspicion that my Track 4 audio was mono – I’ll have to verify when I get home but thanks!
