Audio Track Drops Volume After Nesting?
I am using FCP-7 on an Apple Mac Pro 2.8GHz 8-core desktop computer with OS 10.6.4
The project plays great when I review it in the original timeline with the 12 audio tracks & 7 video tracks. But I like to/need to/it has always been suggested for best playback to NEST a project (it usually does play smoother & more reliably for me when nesting). No matter what I do with this one—sliding audio tracks longer or short at the time the audio drops volume—to fool the computer with smoother audio layers—it still occurs. I’ve even duplicated the sequence and nested it from that sequence and it still happens. It happens at frame 3:18 and lasts until 12 seconds. If I start playing it during the 2-second slug clip at the beginning it goes quiet at 3:18. If I start playing during the video after the slug clip it plays at normal volume. Strange!
What causes this and how can I resolve it without creating an entirely new project and re-editing it?
