    Hello,
I have an older Audio Technica shotgun microphone that needs phantom power. I bought a power module and put it between the camera and microphone. It will not work. I then put a wireless that gives phantom power and it worked once and now will not. Can anybody tell me what I might be missing?
    Thanks,
    Patrick Morrow

Unfortunately, the DSLR’s and phantom power do not play well together.

I’d recommend going directly into an external recorder that handles phantom power then link an output cable into the camera. This way you have a better recording and a secondary in camera recording that may be usable.

Or, attach some aluminum foil to it and raise one leg : )
