I have captured audio from a cassette tape into Vegas, and I want to burn it to a CD that will play on a regular CD player. I rendered it to .wav and also tried .wma. I burnt it to a CD using Windows Media Player (version 11, I think), and it does not play on my CD player. I remember with an earlier version of WMP I was able to convert the .wav file to a version that plays on a regular CD player. Can anyone help me out? TIA, Jim

Nero Burning Rom or most writing software will burn audio from .wav

Did you layout the CD in Vegas with Track Markers (N)? If not, go into the Help and read the Disc-at-Once (DAO or Red Book) CD Burning chapter on how to layout a CD. It will take you step by step though the process.

Thanks! That worked very well. I should have known I could do this within Vegas. Jim
