audio sync trouble
hi, i’m currently cutting a short film in FCP. the audio for this film was recorded on a seperate hard disk and transferred to me on CD (a seperate wav file for each take). however i have discovered that whenever the sound guy unplugged from the camera the levels on the tape go flat leaving no guide track to sync by. as there are no claps and the sound guy has trimmed some of the wavs himself it is making syncing them to the video a very long and awkward process. he has however included .xml files for FCP (entitled markers & settings). will these sync the audio automatically and if so how? any help would be appreciated. thanks.
